Crayons for the Writers

Crayons for the Writers is an animated comedy that Jon & Emily are currently developing. It tracks the daily mishaps and occasional victories of the cast & crew of Hollyweird Studios, as they struggle to reclaim the studio’s golden days and stave off absorption by Boring Corp. Faced with stiff competition from hip entertainment start-ups, the studio’s chief executive, Zebara Devereux, calls in the most creative writers in the world: real kids.

We’re excited to partner with youth writing programs to transform real scripts written by kids as secondary storylines (the shows within the show, which the Hollyweird Studios cast and crew rehearse and produce).
